Strong winds and heavy rain are likely to bring disruption to vessel arrivals and departures at ports across the UK this weekend.
The disruption could also have an impact on next week's UK domestic collections and deliveries. We will be monitoring the situation on a daily basis.
The Met Office has issued several national severe weather warnings from Storm Ciara throughout the weekend, including an Amber warning for the south east on Sunday.
Named by the Met Office on Wednesday, Storm Ciara is currently tracking eastwards towards the UK and Ireland.
Liverpool Port has indicated it is likely to close on Sunday due to the high winds.
Vessel arrivals and departures in Liverpool, Southampton, London Gateway, Felixstowe, Teesport, South Shields and Grangemouth are likely to be effected.
