Coronavirus situation in China

Updated: January 30th 2020

Warrant Group is currently monitoring the Coronavirus situation in China to assess the impact on customers' air and ocean shipments.

Due to the epidemic, the Chinese New Year public holiday period has been extended and travel restrictions are in place.

We have been informed by our partners that currently only people in Xingang are expected to resume work on 3 February 2020.

People in Dalian, Tianjin, Qingdao, Shanghai, Nanjing, Ningbo, Xiamen, Guangzhou and Shenzhen are expected to resume work on 10 February 2020. It is not yet known when people in Wuhan will resume work.

In Hong Kong people have returned to work for the first time and operations appear to be working normally.

The port in Singapore is screening all visitors and China's main ports are currently operating as normal and will continue to follow the advice of the World Health Organization (WHO).

Warrant Group will continue to monitor the situation with our partners in China many of whom are working from home. Duties are limited at this time.

Our thoughts are with our colleagues in China during this difficult time.
